Apply to the Residence Halls
- Agree to the housing contract
- Submit an initial payment of $400
This $400 fee will be applied to the student’s housing costs in the fall. Students who are expecting to receive a financial aid award of $15,000 or more can elect to use their award to cover the $400 payment. If financial aid has not been awarded yet, there would be no payment required at the time of application.
Students who apply early will receive an email in the spring when the second part of the housing application is available. At that time students will be able to:
- Indicate hall and room-type preferences
- Request roommate
- Fill out roommate questionnaire
All incoming students who apply prior to the housing priority date of May 1 will have equal consideration in placement.
Returning students are encouraged to apply by February 15th. Additional information about housing re-application will be emailed to returning students in January.
Priority date for all new students to complete their residence hall application. All new students who apply before the priority deadline of will be considered equally in the first round of the placement process, regardless of the time/date of their application. We will do our best to accommodate student preferences in our placement process.
Housing placements for new students who meet the priority deadline of May 1 will be posted to housing contracts by June 3. After June 3, Housing Services will post assignments for new students to their housing contracts prior to the start of their New Coug Orientation session.
Cancellation fees go into effect.
