Standing RHA Committees

Currently, the Residence Hall Association has three standing committees: Programming, Public Outreach, and Finance. Executive Board members lead these committees and consist of RHA General Council members. 

Programming Committee

The Programming Committee consists of members of the RHA’s General Council and is led by the VP of Programming. The purpose of the Programming Committee is to plan and facilitate campus-wide events that help engage and educate the students within our Residence Halls. This committee also helps support traditional RHA programming, such as RHA’s Price is Right, Bingo Nights, Trivia, Spring Hall Week, and much more!

Public Outreach Committee

The Public Outreach Committee consists of members of the RHA’s General Council and is led by the VP of Communications/National Communications Coordinator. The Public Outreach Committee runs RHA’s social media accounts and manages the marketing/branding of the RHA and RHA-sponsored events with the purpose of growing recognition of the RHA. This committee also plans and facilitates RHA’s social media campaigns, such as Fortune Fridays and Residence Hall room tours!

Finance Committee

The Public Outreach Committee consists of members of the RHA’s General Council and is led by the VP of Finance. The Finance Committee helps facilitate RHA’s Funding Request Process. This includes reviewing funding requests made to RHA under $1,000, conducting stipend review of the Executive Board members, and resolving any monetary issues by giving an informed recommendation to the RHA General Council.
