Requirements

  • Each position will require 8 hours a week of office hours. All RHA Executives will have access to the dedicated RHA office in the CUB.
  • You will need to maintain and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 or better to be eligible for any of the RHA executive positions.

Benefits

Each position receives the same stipend of $250 per semester as well as a housing stipend equivalent to the price of a double room in Gannon/Goldsworthy or any Stephenson Tower, ($3,709 for Spring of 2024).

It is important to note that in order to qualify for a role in RHA, you must be living in a residence hall on campus for the full duration of your term in RHA. Your housing stipend can apply to any residence hall; depending on the cost, it may not cover the full amount of your housing contract. For example, a single suite in Global Scholars Hall costs $5,820 per semester (2023-2024), so the $3,709 (2023-2024) housing stipend would go towards the cost leaving you to pay the remaining $2,111.

The $250 stipend is not guaranteed, as each RHA Executive will need to go through a stipend evaluation at the end of each semester and request any amount from $0-$250. The general council will vote on to either approve or deny. If you fulfill the duties of your role, you will have a very high chance of receiving the full amount; it is very uncommon to not receive the full amount.

Each position will also come with a dedicated RHA email specifically for each role that will work through your existing WSU email.
