Completed in 2009, Olympia Avenue is the newest residence hall on campus! It sets a new standard as a vibrant learning community enhanced by technology, classroom space, meeting rooms, lounge space and a staff focused on the overall development of residents. Olympia Avenue is a LEED certified Gold building and offers innovative "green" features such as geothermal heating and cooling, site restoration with natural habitat and vegetation, reduction of light pollution, storm water collection and reuse for irrigation and water-use reduction. Regional and recycled materials and certified wood were used in the construction where possible. This hall has a central two-story lounge with a gas fireplace and each floor includes a lounge/study/kitchen/laundry area as a common place to gather. Technological amenities include WiFi access, video over IP, 3 wired data ports/resident and a media center. There's also an indoor bike storage area accessible only to Olympia Ave. residents. With its mixture of upper class and 1st year students, Olympia Avenue is an exciting place to socialize and study with peers of all levels. Students have the unique ability to set the living and learning environment in this new hall. And when residents get hungry, Southside Café is the nearest dining facility.

Olympia Avenue fills up fast so be sure to sign up early!
